Your favorite food store, TJ’s, can now go on your list of “favorite places to get skincare products.”
Yes, you read that correctly- while you are perusing the aisle for your avos, 99 cent bananas, and cauliflower stir-fry (trust me on that one), you can also indulge in some amazing skincare and beauty products.
My favorite is the jojoba oil- I lather this on immediately after a shower, and any time I have skin irritation. I also use it as an oil medium to mix with peppermint and eucalyptus essential oil. It’s the perfect alternative to Vick’s chest rub when you need help clearing chest congestion.
Another go-to of mine is the Oatmeal Exfoliant Ginger Almond soap. Such a great find- I use this to gently exfoliate and cleanse my body in the shower- just be careful not to drop it! It is so heavy- your toes will thank you.
The mango body butter was one of the first things I discovered. It is light in scent, and whipped to perfection. Perfect for layering over the body oil in the cold winter months, and it adds just a hint of sheen to your body in the Summer.
A few weeks ago, I picked up the blueberry and açaí facial scrub. So far, I am loving the texture- it has small, physical exfoliators, a creamy base, and a light, fresh berry scent. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.
Who knew Trader Joe’s would be your one-stop-shop for trending beauty products? Now you do… thank me later.
